After a day of sorting and redistributing tools between the garage and the shed, Bill started the groundwork for stairs from the shop to the house. They will be framed with treated 2x12s with 5/8 minus gravel steps, the most economic option. I joined him after finishing yesterdays task of washing the 5th wheel. Rocky slope made slow going, but after several hours, we were over half way, having dug a 12" deep by 40" wide by 30' long section of the 50' rise.
